Terms of Service

Last updated: September 9, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the PV Notary & Signing Services website at pvnotary.com and your engagement with the notary and signing services provided by PV Notary & Signing Services LLC ("PV Notary," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to these terms.

1. General Information Only

This website provides general information about PV Notary & Signing Services and the notary and signing services we offer. Website content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or a guarantee of service availability or outcome.

2. Use of Our Website and Age Requirements

PV Notary & Signing Services is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, select legal documents, draft or prepare legal documents, or determine which notarial act a document requires. Customers must provide complete, properly prepared documents and any necessary instructions. Questions regarding legal effect, document sufficiency, witness requirements, or acceptance should be directed to the document's issuing or receiving organization or a licensed attorney.

You must be at least 18 years old to independently submit a service request, schedule an appointment, purchase services, or agree to these Terms.

A person under 18 may access the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent, legal guardian, or other legally authorized adult must submit any service request and agree to these Terms on the minor's behalf.

This age requirement does not necessarily prohibit a minor from participating in a notarization. Whether a notarization involving a minor can be completed depends on applicable law, satisfactory identification, the signer's awareness and willingness, and the requirements of the document and receiving organization.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not damage, disable, disrupt, or interfere with the Site or another person's use of it.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, customer information, or any connected services.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the Site at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

3. Not a Law Firm

4. Document Preparation

Customers are responsible for providing complete, properly prepared documents before the appointment. PV Notary does not draft, review, or advise on the legal content of documents. If a document requires specific execution instructions, witnesses, or preparation steps, the customer is responsible for obtaining those requirements from the appropriate professional or organization before the appointment.

5. Appointment Requests

Submission of an appointment request through our website, email, or phone does not confirm an appointment. An appointment is confirmed only when PV Notary provides written or verbal confirmation. We will contact you to review availability, pricing, identification requirements, location, and document-related requirements before confirming any appointment.

6. Service Availability

Service is subject to availability, geographic coverage, scheduling, and applicable legal requirements. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule an appointment when circumstances prevent us from providing the requested service.

7. Signer Requirements

To complete a notarization, the signer must:

  • Personally appear before the notary as required by applicable law
  • Present satisfactory identification as required by Tennessee law
  • Act willingly and without coercion
  • Be capable of communicating directly with the notary

PV Notary may pause or decline a notarization if these requirements cannot be reasonably satisfied.

8. Facility Access

For appointments at hospitals, assisted-living facilities, detention facilities, or other controlled-access locations, facility access is controlled by the institution and cannot be guaranteed by PV Notary. Payment for travel or coordination does not guarantee that a notarization can be completed if access is denied or the signer cannot participate.

9. Witnesses

PV Notary does not guarantee the availability of witnesses. If a document requires witnesses, the customer is responsible for arranging qualified witnesses before the appointment unless a separate arrangement has been confirmed in advance.

10. Notarization Does Not Guarantee Acceptance

Notarization of a document does not guarantee its legal validity, effectiveness, sufficiency, or acceptance by any court, agency, institution, or other recipient. The customer is responsible for confirming that the document meets all requirements of the intended recipient before the appointment.

11. Pricing and Fees

Fees vary based on the requested notarial acts, appointment location, travel distance, scheduling requirements, document volume, and facility-access requirements. Any applicable charges will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed. Cancellation, travel, wait-time, and failed-appointment policies apply as disclosed at the time of scheduling.

12. Website Content

Website content and service availability may change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not warrant that all information is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.

13. SMS Messaging Terms

PV Notary & Signing Services LLC offers optional non-marketing text-message communications concerning customer service inquiries, appointment scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, document requirements, notary arrival updates, rescheduling notices, and service-status updates.

Customers may enroll by entering their mobile telephone number on our appointment-request form and voluntarily selecting the unchecked SMS-consent checkbox. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services.

Message frequency varies according to the customer's inquiry and appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. You will receive no additional text messages unless you opt in again.

For assistance, reply HELP, email [email protected], or call 931-404-4880.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile information and SMS consent will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
